A good skincare routine: FACIAL WORKOUT
FACIAL WORKOUT
We all know the beneficial effects of exercise on the body, but what about the face? Beyond facial massage, new facial training exercises, which combine massage techniques, including finger-puncture, with facial exercises further extend the benefits of improving blood circulation and strengthening the muscle, resulting in radiant skin, sculpted features, and a natural lifting effect. Here’s how to integrate it into your beauty ritual.
Right after a workout at the gym, facial training exercises stimulate circulation, helping to deliver nutrients and oxygen to the skin. Facial exercises combined with massage can also increase essential collagen production, helping to maintain elasticity and bounce for a younger, smoother-looking face. A ritual of facial exercises can help reduce puffiness, and the good news is, you can do it all in minutes at home. Here’s how.
How to Smoothen the wrinkles between the eyebrows
Pro tip: The space between the eyebrows is a point of the fingerprint which allows to rebalance the energy of the face. Forehead massage stimulates the production of collagen, which helps prevent and reduce fine lines between the eyebrows.
1. Place your index finger between the eyebrows and press gently. Close your eyes and take a deep breath to calm your mind, then massage gently in one direction, then the other.
2. Move your index finger to the forehead, then continue with the other index finger with gentle pressure.
3. Using the tips of your two index fingers, smooth the eyebrows from the center of your face to the sides, then do the same movement in the middle of your forehead as well as on the upper part of the forehead.
How to Increase the Glow of skin
Pro tip: Dabbing and sweeping fingers stimulate circulation and smooth the skin’s surface, resulting in an enviable, post-gym-worthy glow.
1. Using your index fingers, sweep the forehead up and to the sides.
2. Starting from the space between your eyebrows, slide your fingers down past the inner corners of the eyes and then under the eyes to the sides.
3. Squeeze your cheeks gradually downward, starting at the height of the nose up to the chin, then work your way up the sides to the hairline and work your way up to the cheekbones.
4. Use your index and middle fingers to sweep the nasolabial folds firmly upward from the corners of the mouth to the nose.
5. Pinch along the jawline, chin to the earlobes, then slide your thumbs under the jawbone from the tip to the ears.
6. Pat your fingertips all over your face, then rub your hands together to then cover your eyes and relax your face.
How to Reduce the Dark Circles
Pro Tip: Performing a circular motion under the eyes stimulates lymphatic drainage, which decreases the appearance of dark circles. Strengthening the muscles around the eyes will also reduce puffiness.
1. Use your index fingers to lightly tap for a few moments around the eye area, then sweep your fingers under the eyes to the sides of the face.
2. Press down with your two index fingers under each eye, form an “O” with your mouth, look up and flick your eyelids lightly for 30 seconds.
3. With one hand on your forehead and move your eyes up and down, then side to side.
How to Soften the nasolabial folds
Helpful information: The “O” shape tones the muscles around the mouth and jaw, while stimulating collagen production and blood circulation. Strengthening the muscles around your eyes tightens the skin and reduces fine lines.
1. Form an “O” with your mouth, then using your index fingers, gently pat upward from the jaw to the nose.
2. Form a “V” by placing your middle fingers at the inner corners of your eyebrows and your index fingers at the outer corners of your eyes, then lift your eyes and crinkle the lower eyelids until you feel a vibration in your muscles.
3. Keep the same position and close your eyes tightly until you feel the vibration.
4. Pat in a circular motion around the eyes in both directions.
Post-workout care
After completing the workout, the customer should use serum and collagen cream. After working out collagen cream will promote more collagen on the skin, leaving a supple and soft skin.
