Before preparing your suitcase for your vacation getaways, review all the beauty products that you cannot leave at home

We’re finally going on vacation and this year we don’t care about the destination. We need disconnection, peace and that is only achieved when we are on vacation, whether it is on the seashore or lost in a mountain. The desire for vacations that we have this year has made many of us carry our suitcases prepared (without exaggeration) and have made a thousand and one lists of essential items to carry in the suitcase.

Although, the truly important thing is to know what to put in the toiletry bag. Beyond the spray for surfer waves, the hair mask or that wonderful hair serum with which to avoid frizz, it is important that we make a real list based on our beauty needs and thus do not leave our products at home essential.

1. Face sunscreen

It doesn’t matter how tan you are or how tanned you get, sunscreen is the first beauty product you should put in your vanity bag. If you are one of those who want to avoid spots (if you do not use sunscreen it will be impossible for them not to appear).

2. Sunscreen for the body

Although you think that the skin has the same characteristics throughout the body, it is not. Therefore, when putting sunscreen in your bag, you should take one for the face and one for the body. Experts recommend using sunscreen with a sun protection factor of at least 30, although we prefer to play it safe and buy sunscreen with an SPF greater than 50 for greater protection against UV rays. Forget the myths about sun protection and its greater oiliness as the protection factor increases.

3. After sun with aloe vera

Although we use sun protection, the effect of the sun is noticeable on the skin, which is why it is essential to apply an aftersun to alleviate the symptoms of exposure to the sun’s rays. With a calming effect, we recommend including an aftersun with aloe vera in your cosmetic bag for these summer vacations.

4. Hair mask

We are aware that after the summer holidays we will have to cut our hair, but that does not mean that we stop taking care of it. For this reason, one of the essentials in the toiletry bag this holiday is a good mask with which to hydrate and nourish our hair after exposure to the sun, salt and chlorine.
